IntelliCalc™

Introduction

IntelliCalc is a powerful new tool for merging multiple map layers, performing mathematical calculations and generating new map layers. Useful in creating Nutrient Management Plans and preparing data for spatial analysis, IntelliCalc offers an unprecedented flexibility in the selection of source data and algorithms.

Source data can be selected from external data such as shapefiles, internal layers such as soil type or field operation data such as yield maps. The user can then select an appropriate set of algorithms to apply to the selected source data. Algorithms can include data reclassification, algebraic equations and various surfacing routines. IntelliCalc can even access external algorithms such as Purdue's Manure Management Planner software.

Once you have assembled a set of algorithms that accomplish the task you are trying to accomplish, you may save the steps as a script. The script becomes available to apply the assembly to any field or crop zone in your database with a single mouse click. If you have the Professional version of EASi Suite, these scripts can also be executed in a batch mode against several fields or crop zones all at once.

IntelliCalc is included with EASi Suite Professional and available as an add-on module for EASi Suite Farm Edition. EASi Suite Multi-Client Edition users who would like to add IntelliCalc are encouraged to upgrade to EASi Suite Professional.
