Soil Test Manager
Introduction
Soil Test Manager is an application designed to automate
the processes involved in an intensive soil testing program.
Soil Test Manager can be used to create pre-sample work orders,
import sampling logs, submit soil test orders to labs, download
the test results, and batch print reports for growers. By
managing all parts of the soil sampling and lab submission
process, the need to manually cross-reference lab results
with sampling logs has been virtually eliminated.
To illustrate the advantages Soil Test Manager has to offer,
we took a dataset consisting of 41 fields and 899 soil samples
and compared Soil Test Manager with a popular precision ag
software program. The time required to import the field data
files and link the soil test results was reduced from 44 minutes
to 2 minutes!
Soil Test Manager is only available as an included feature
of the EASi Suite Professional Edition.
