Some of my fields are separate by waterways. How do I map them?

The mapping module of EASi Suite is built using a state-of-the-art GIS system which allows you to map these fields as multi-part polygons. This means you can map each side of the waterway separately, without being required to connect them using old-fashioned land bridges.

Sometimes we split a field between two or more crops. How do I do that in EASi Suite?

In EASi Suite, you may subdivide fields into as many crops as you need. Other less sophisticated crop record keeping software may require you to create new field boundaries in order to accommodate these situations.

In EASi Suite, field boundaries are permanent objects which persist over time. But fields are allowed to be subdivided into 'Crop Zones' that can be different from one year to the next.

We farm some ground on a 50-50 share lease, but pay all of the cost of the burndown herbicide. How does EASi Suite handle that?

No other crop record keeping software has the flexibility to accommodate unique lease arrangements like EASi Suite can. Although leases are set up at the farm level, EASi Suite provides a full range of flexibility to allow you to record modified lease terms for individual items, such as products and crops.

We apply two types of fertilizer, an insecticide and sometimes two different hybrids while we plant. Is it possible to enter a record from this planting operation in one step?

EASi Suite provides for a way for you to describe complex machine configurations when setting up your equipment. These configurations present themselves during data entry to allow you to enter your entire product usage in a single step.

These machine configurations are also exported to our Pocket Crops product to allow you to record the application of products while you are performing field operations.

The harvest records from my yield monitor don't agree with my scale tickets. What do you do about that?

EASi Suite provides a simple method to "post-calibrate" your mapped data to agree with your scale tickets.

Can I track my irrigated corn production separately from my non-irrigated corn production, even though both crops are getting mixed together at harvest time?

EASi Suite will allow you to track multiple crops belonging to the same commodity class. In this example, irrigated corn and non-irrigated corn are set up as separate crops both belonging to the Corn commodity. This allows you to track the cultural practices and production costs of each crop separately

I need a program that lets me track my grain sales. Is this possible in EASi Suite?

EASi Suite has very versatile grain harvest capabilities. These capabilities are accessed through the EASi Grain module. You are able to record scale tickets at harvest time and record discounts for each ticket. Each storage facility you deliver grain to can be setup in EASi Grain and have its own set of discount schedules that may be applied to any ticket.

EASi Grain provides for complete tracking of grain production from planting to sale. At harvest time, grain is placed into 'Open Storage' when first delivered to the initial receiving facility. The receipt of the grain is recorded in the scale tickets portion of EASi Grain. When grain is priced or sold, it is removed from open storage and can be settled accordingly.
