Work Orders
Soil Test Manager has the ability to create pre-sampling
work orders. This process includes creating job summaries,
selecting the field computer to be used, exporting existing
field boundaries to your field computer, and printing bag
labels. You can also export maps of prior soil tests for repeat
soil sampling, and you can export manually drawn sampling
maps when you want to sample in a management zone scenario.
To the extent that your sampling computer's software allows
it, the sampling computer will be set up to minimize the amount
of time your workers spend entering information while in the
field. And by preloading sampling files generated from the
office, you are assured of efficiently importing the sampling
logs back into the mapping system when your workers return
from the field
