Field Names

It is recommended you keep your field names less than 20 characters long. EASi Suite generates field names for the GreenStar data cards using the following set of rules:

• If the field has only one crop zone:
• If the field name is less than 20 characters long, we export the field name.
• If the field name is longer than 20 characters, we export the field ID.
• If the field ID is longer than 20 characters, we export the leftmost 20 characters of the Field ID.
• If there is more than one crop zone in the field:
• We construct a field name using %FieldName% - %CropZoneName%. 
• If that is longer than 20 chars (likely), then we try again using %FieldID% - %CropZoneName%.
• If that is longer than 20 chars, then we use the full crop zone name plus the left most X characters of the Field ID, where X equals 20 minus the length of the crop zone name.

Crop Names

• It is highly recommended that EASi Suite users add commodities to the Master Commodity Editor. Each crop in the Master Crops Editor should then be linked one of these commodities. This is required before importing yield data into EASi Suite.
• GreenStar users should use names from the GreenStar Crops list for their commodities. If GreenStar crop names are not used for EASi Suite commodities, then they must be used for the crop names.
• Corn, Soybeans and Wheat are considered GreenStar acceptable names to be used for either crops or commodities in EASi Suite.

Products

• Before exporting setup data to the GreenStar data card, make sure you have assigned the appropriate crop type to your seed products. To do this open the Master Product Editor in EASi Suite and select 'Seed' from the Product Role dropdown. Scroll the grid all the way to the right and select the crop type for each seed product that you want to have exported to the GreenStar display.
• Ammonia and liquid fertilizers that are applied in lbs/acre must have a product form of "Dry".
• If the product form for a product is "Liquid" then either the application units or purchase units must be in a liquid form, i.e. gals/acre or gallons.
• Seeds that have an application unit of measure in lbs/acre must have a product form of "Dry".
• Seeds that have an application unit of measure in seeds/acre must have a product form of "Count".

Tasks

• Before exporting data to GreenStar data cards make sure you have Tasks available on the Machines tab.

Tank Mixes

• Limited to 6 ingredients plus the carrier.
• Liquid products need to utilize correct units of measure, i.e. fluid ounces/acre, not ounces/acre.
