Preparing for AgStudio SP0

We’ve migrated a limited number of customers from the 2014 SP3 HF2 version of AgStudio to our 2015 SP0 version. The migrations have gone quite well and we’re now ready to make the SP0 release available to everyone. …

We recognize that this is not an optimum time for many of you. If your current version is meeting the needs you have for this spring, then, by all means, you can postpone your migration until as late as mid-summer. However, if you would like to use some of the new SP0 features, we will be happy to work with you to schedule a time for your conversion.

At your convenience, please review Preparing for AgStudio SP0. This document describes, in detail, what will happen during the conversion, and what you will benefit from after migrating to SP0. As a quick summary, you’ll be locked out of your database for a few hours… likely a Sunday morning. And, after the conversion, you’ll have more powerful tools to export data to field devices and read data from the field devices.

We do need to migrate several customers to SP0 each week in order to get everyone migrated by mid-summer. So, if you are in a position to be without your database for a few hours over a weekend, please contact support and ask to schedule your migration.

Thank you,
The MapShots Team
